Prof. Carmen-Helena Tellez, Head of the Conducting Studio in the Sacred Music Program at Notre Dame lectures this Thursday, February 23, at the National Conference of the Music Library Association in Orlando, Florida. The MLA requested her to discuss her career at Indiana University's Latin American Music Center, where she produced 13 recordings of Latin American music and many premieres, conferences and special events, all of which generated new documentation of this important repertoire, and contributed to the increasing exchanges between researchers and librarians of the United States and Latin America.
