Zen Kuriyama's article, "Reshaping Musical History: Gerald Finzi and the English Musical Renaissance," has been accepted for publication by the UK-based journal, Finzi Friends, coming out in December 2018. A second-year conducting student, Zen is programming two pieces by Finzi on his final master's recital, including one of the pieces featured in this article. Zen will be presenting a conference version of this paper at Durham University's "The English Musical Renaissance and the Church Conference" on 5 November 2018, co-sponsored by the Royal Musical Association. He will travel to England with the support of a professional development grant from Notre Dame's Nanovic Institute for European Studies.
