Carina Sturdy Wins Award for the Second Year in a Row

SMND student Carina Sturdy (MSM organ) is a recipient of a 2017-18 award from the American Guild of Organists as part of their Student Commissioning Project. Carina Sturdy and composer Thomas Little worked together to compose “The Elephant’s Foot,” a reference to the radioactive mass created by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Sturdy received this collaborative award for the second year in a row.
