Alumni, Nicole Simental (MSM '13) was recently featured in The Columbus Dispatch for her new position as principal organist at St. Joseph Cathedral in Columbus, OH. In the article, Nicole talks about being asked to substitute for her parish's organ player while she was a child. She immediately fell in love with the new position and role she played in the church. This calling pushed her to study organ and get her bachelors degree from Wheaton College in Illinois, masters from Sacred Music at the University of Notre Dame, and is currently finishing her doctorate at Indiana University.
