Kimberli Alphonso

MSM - Voice

Kimberli Alphonso is a soprano and cellist from Orlando, Florida pursuing her Master of Sacred Music at the University of Notre Dame. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Rollins College where she was a featured soloist and understudy for The Bach Festival Society of Winter Park.
Most recently, she has served the Catholic Diocese of Orlando as the Soprano section leader for St. James Cathedral and sings Soprano 1 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. She also performs with the acclaimed New York based ensemble, Choral Chameleon.
At Notre Dame, Kimberli seeks to grow in her Catholic faith and deepen her immersion in the sacred music tradition so she may continue to serve and enrich music ministries in Catholic parishes. She is excited to direct in the Notre Dame Children’s Choir and help nurture the next generation of faith-filled choral singers.
Outside of her musical pursuits, Kimberli enjoys spending time with her husband and their two Australian Labradoodles.
