David Stultz

MSM - Organ

David Stultz is a 23-year-old from Chattanooga, TN. He studied piano with Dr. Sigrid Luther for fifteen years, and during high school, he studied organ with Jason DuRoy and Dr. Sarah Harr. David began his church music career as the assistant organist at First Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga where his mother, Kelly Stultz, served as music director. Later, David held the position as organist for two years at Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. From 2018 to 2021, he also served as the Assistant Director of Music and Organist at Second Presbyterian Church in Knoxville. Recently in the summer of 2021, David was awarded first prize in the 2021 Southeast Regional AGO Competition for Young Organists. David’s education includes graduating in 2017 from the Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN along with recently receiving a bachelor’s degree in organ performance from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he studied with Dr. Edie Johnson. David also passed the AGO Service Playing Certification Exam in the spring of 2020 and the AGO Colleague Certification Exam in the spring of 2021.
