Anne Patterson

MSM - Organ
Anne Patterson began her organ studies at the age of thirteen and has been immersed in the field of sacred music ever since. She studied under Dr. Brice Gerlach at Ave Maria University, during which time she served as principal organist at Ave Maria Parish and earned degrees in both Music and Classics & Early Christian Literature. Although primarily an organist, Anne has also studied voice, composition, piano, and conducting extensively, and she continues to implement each discipline in her work in sacred music. She has appeared as a guest performer at three of Artis Naples’ Festivals of Great Organ Music and has performed works like Beethoven’s [Piano Trio No. 1 in E-Flat Major (italics)] and Franck’s [Violin Sonata (italics)] as a collaborative pianist. Anne is currently a first-year MSM student studying with Dr. Kola Owolabi and serving as an assistant to the Notre Dame Folk Choir.
