SMND Student Emorja Roberson (MSM, DMA ‘22) was recently featured in the South Bend Tribune for his upcoming Doctoral Thesis Concert “BE-SPOKEN”. This musical work, written by Emorja Roberson and collaborative artist Anthony Walker, explores the stories of Black people in America through spoken word, gospel, and hip-hop. “BE-SPOKEN” is set to premiere Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Leighton Concert Hall in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.
