Constantine Novotny, 2nd year Master's student, will perform his final recital entitled "Invocation to Night". The works by Moneverdi, Poulenc, Kilpinen, and Copland begin with the death of a loved one and end with the Promised Land, using "Night" as a metaphor for death and Heaven as a sign that night must turn into day.
