The Notre Dame Department of Music, Graduate Program in Sacred Music, and Nanovic Institute for European Studies present "An Odyssey of Ukrainian Song," on Tuesday, October 31 at 7PM in LaBar Recital Hall.

Acclaimed guest artists Simon Barrad, baritone, and Kseniia Polstiankina Barrad, piano, will perform rarely-heard Ukrainian art songs, highlighting the rich contributions of Ukrainian composers, alongside works by composers touched by Ukraine's history and culture. Composers include Lysenko, Silvestrov, Barvinsky, Lyatoshynsky and Turkevich, as well as Gershwin and Schumann.
