Jeffrey Dean, MSM ‘24, will be joined by an eight-voice consort to present a non-degree conducting recital entitled endlesse perfectnesse. The program is crafted around a celestial theme, with a capella works by Power, Victoria, Reger, Warlock, Copland, de Paur, Parker/Shaw, Carter, Weir, Harris, McGrath, and Rogers (MSM ‘24). The first half of the program depicts heaven coming down to earth in the form of a man, and the second half depicts the current of “endlesse perfectnesse” into which mankind is ultimately dissolved.
