The graduate students in this semester's Creative Hymn Playing II class, taught by Professor Kola Owolabi, will present a hymn festival on Tuesday May 2 from 2:30-3:30pm in Reyes Organ and Choral Hall, DeBartolo Performing Arts Center, University of Notre Dame. The focus this semester has been on techniques for creative hymn introductions and the students will offer a delightful smorgasbord of techniques including fugato, ritornello, trio and ostinato. Please come lend your voice to this afternoon of sacred song. This festival will also be live-streamed.
