First year MSM organ student, Nicholas Schefstad, will present an organ recital comprised of German works from the seventeenth to the twentieth century on the beautiful [Marjorie] O’Malley Organ, a two-manual instrument built by Paul Fritts & Co, in 2004 for the Reyes Organ & Choral Hall. Composers featured in this recital include Franz Tunder, Dieterich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, and Hugo Distler. Nicholas will also perform a baroque work by Johann Kerll on the historic Italian organ.
