Second Year MSM student Maxwell Trochlil presents his final voice recital. The program starts with Erwäge, an aria from Bach's St. John Passion, followed by a contemporary english song cycle by Ben Moore. Titled "Dear Theo", Moore sets letters written by Vincent Van Gogh to his brother Theo, who financially supported him throughout his career. Maxwell will also be joined by fellow MSM Voice student, Erin Taylor, to perform Messiaen's duet "La Mort du Nombre". Moving forward, Maxwell will perform a set of art song by Richard Strauss, then closing out the recital with Franz Lehár's "Dein ist mein ganzes Herz".
