First year MSM organ student, Nicole Gerdes, will present an organ recital on April 14 at 4:30pm in Reyes Organ & Choral Hall. This performance will include works from Dieterich Buxtehude, Johann Sebastian Bach, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, Josef Rheinberger, and Olivier Messiaen. Gerdes will perform these works on a historic Italian instrument and the [Marjorie] O’Malley Organ, a two-manual instrument built by Paul Fritts & Co. in 2004.
