David Yearsley was educated at Harvard College and Stanford University, where he received his Ph.D. in music history. His many honors as an organist include all significant prizes at the Bruges Early Music Festival.
In "Handel at the Organ," through adaptation and elaboration, Yearsley uses both hands and feet to reimagine and reenact a performance by Handel. The footwork is impressive considering organs of Handel's adopted country, England, were almost universally without a keyboard for the feet.
