Concordia Choir led by DMA conducting student Emmanuel de Leon Jr. will present an outdoor choral recital of Gregorio Allegri’s Miserere Mei, Deus; Jake Runestad’s A Silence Haunts Me, Ily Matthew Maniano Daluyong, Arvo Pärt's Nunc Dimitis and Da Pacem Domine, and James MacMillan’s Alpha and Omega. Finally, de Leon will premiere Sh’ma (Hear), a new work by Eudenice Palaruan based on 2 Chronicles 7:14 (Lord Heal Our Land).
Listeners may stand or sit outside the Leahy Gate on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. All attendees must wear face masks and maintain a physical distance of six feet. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the performance.
