SMND Conducting Recital - Joshua Boggs

-

Location: 139 O'Neill Hall - LaBar Performance Hall

Joshua Boggs is proud to conduct Craig Hella Johnson's wonderfully-gripping oratorio Considering Matthew Shepherd, with the Notre Dame Concordia Choir, Ritornello Orchestra, and soloists from voice program. Considering Matthew Shepard celebrates the life of Matt Shepherd through a colorful variety of musical styles and texts.  Johnson's work is filled to the brim with layers of symbolism, reflections on painful topics, and, ultimately, poses questions about humanity.  This interdicsiplinary performance will feature minimal staging and original visual projections by Camilla Tassi.

All Sacred Music events in O’Neill Hall are free and open to the public.
