"Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice" a MSM Conducting Recital by Michael Duryea
A degree recital conducted by Michael Duryea in the studio of Carmen Tellez in the Sacred Music Program at the University of Notre Dame. Featuring the Notre Dame Recital Choir, a small chamber orchestra, Dr. Daniel Stein as concertmaster, Emily Meixner on organ, and vocal soloists from the studio of Dr. Stephen Lancaster. The recital's centerpiece is the choral anthem Lo, the Full, Final Sacrifice by 20th century English composer Gerald Finzi. The theme of the recital is the feeling of longing after Christ, who is the full, final sacrifice and Savior of the world.
