SMND choral conducting student Zen Kuriyama recently had his first journal publication, in the December 2018 issue of The Finzi Journal, printed in the United Kingdom. In the article, Zen discusses Gerald Finzi's role in the English Musical Renaissance, drawing upon his research done in the UK this past summer through a grant from the Nanovic Institute for European Studies. Here he is pictured with a complimentary publication of the journal.
