Professor Carmen-Helena Tellez, Head of the Conducting Studio of Sacred Music at Notre Dame, lectures this Wednesday, March 22 at the Composition Seminar of the University of Louisville, by invitation of Professor Marc Satterwaite. She will address two Latin American operas she has conducted in world and collegiate premieres, Gabriela Ortiz's Unicamente la verdad! and Osvlado Golijov's Ainadamar, addressing issues of morphing polyvalent identities in the compositional language.
