The University of Notre Dame, Department of Music is conducting a faculty search for the position of Professor of the Practice (open rank, non-tenure track, full-time regular faculty), for a soprano, mezzo-soprano, or contralto voice, the position beginning August 2016. The successful candidate will be an exceptional artist (with an active performing life beyond the campus) and pedagogue with a thorough knowledge of opera, oratorio, art song, and concert literature. The Music Department is part of the College of Arts and Letters, and successful candidates will have the skills and desire to incorporate performance and teaching into a liberal arts context and also to contribute to the Program of Sacred Music and the Graduate Studio in Voice.
