Michael Accurso, Director of Sacred Music at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh, NC has accepted an invitation from Peter Tiboris, General Director and Music Director of MidAmerica Productions & MidAm International, to conduct Handel’s Zadok the Priest, Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened, and The King Shall Rejoice at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 16, 2019 with the New England Symphonic Ensemble as part of the organization’s 36th Season. Accurso graduated from the MSM program in 2015 and the DMA program in 2017 as a student of Professor Carmen-Helena Téllez.
