Margot Fassler will speak on a session at the annual meeting of the American Musicological Society.
Fassler's presentation is entitled: "Seer and Sinner: Mary Magdalene in Offices and Plays from the Twelfth and Early Thirteenth Centuries." Other speakers in this session ("Dramatic Expression in Office and Play") are Susan Rankin of Cambridge University and Henry Parkes of Nottingham University.
Registration is required for the session, which airs on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 4-4:50PM (EST).
This year the AMS meeting is virtual, with speakers having videos of their presentations posted several weeks before the meeting. Attendees will watch the videos, and then attend a 50 minute Q and A.
