Rose Wollman’s album Loop: Ligeti’s Inspiration & Legacy, released on Acis on Oct. 4, 2022, debuted at no. 11 on the Billboard Traditional Classical chart (week of Oct. 18, 2022).
Dr. Wollman is currently the Adjunct Viola Faculty in the Department of Music and the album was produced by Dr. Daniel Stein (O’Neill Hall - Music Technology and Production). Wollman previously served as the Sacred Music program’s Ensemble Coordinator for many years, and continues to have a collaborative relationship with the program.
The album features, in addition to her own piece and several commissions, a new piece by Alex Mansour (Notre Dame BM ‘19) who is currently working on a piece for the Notre Dame Children’s Chorus.
